ITR Filing for Salaried Taxpayers: Beyond Form 16
ITR preparation for salaried taxpayers covering Form 16, AIS, Form 26AS, interest, house property, investments, capital gains and form-selection factors.
Information reviewed against referenced sources:
Is Form 16 enough to file an ITR?
Not necessarily. Form 16 is an important salary and TDS record, but the return may also need interest, house-property, investment, capital-gains, foreign-income or other information. AIS and Form 26AS should also be reviewed against the taxpayer’s records.
